Challenges Faced
- Integrating Supabase Auth: Handling edge cases around authentication and user sessions.
- Securing File Uploads: Implementing row-level security and user-specific access to uploaded documents.
- Advanced Table Features: Refactoring table components to support sorting, filtering, column visibility, and pagination.
- Error Handling: Providing actionable feedback for users, especially on file upload failures and booking conflicts.
- UX Consistency: Ensuring a unified experience across shadcn/ui components and custom flows.
What I Learned
- Deep dive into Supabase for full-stack React apps (auth, permissions, storage).
- UI/UX considerations when building with shadcn/ui.
- Real-world error handling and user feedback strategies.
- The importance of iterative commits and modular feature development.
